Her husband doesn't come home until late at night, and her married life is cold... Aiming to support herself, Kana starts attending night school to get a qualification. However, even though it's a night school, her classmates are all young, and she has a hard time adjusting to school life after decades. One day, on the train home from school, Kana bumps into Hajime, who is in the same class, and decides to walk with him part of the way home. Kana feels a sense of familiarity with Hajime, who is older than the other students and doesn't seem to fit in at school. At school, in the library, on the train... the more time they spend together, the more feelings she thought she had forgotten are awakened.
